The Shepherd Ministry at Old Fort Church is a care-based ministry. It is made up of several components, each geared to meeting specific needs of our church family.
- The Hospital Ministry group is on call to support not only folks who are admitted to the hospital, but their family as well. Contact persons: Norm Murray and Jon Finley
- The Communion & Shut-In Ministry group visits those who are unable to physically come to church regularly. Communion is served once a month by request. Contact person: Vicki Hull
- The Meals Ministry group provides meals to folks who have had surgery, recently had a baby, experienced the loss of a loved one, or are experiencing other stressful situations in their lives. Contact person: Nola Murray
- The Card Ministry group keeps up to date on those in our church who could benefit from receiving an encouraging card. Contact person: Ronda Krotzer
- "Helping Hands" is jointly overseen by Shepherd Ministry and Outreach Ministry. Help is available in a variety of ways for those who are in need of temporary assistance. Contact persons: Linda Woodruff and Vickie Finley
At one point in time or another we will all need special care from our friends. The Shepherd Ministry is here to take care of our "flock."
Contact Vickie Finley, Shepherd Ministry Leader, 419.992.4633, for more information.
